PFG Advisors Sells Down Procter & Gamble Stake
PFG Advisors trimmed its stake in Procter & Gamble Company (The) by 45.4% during the second quarter, according to a recent filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The fund sold 30,408 shares of PG's stock, leaving it with 36,571 shares worth $5,363,000 at the end of the most recent quarter.
This reduction is not an isolated incident. Other hedge funds have also adjusted their holdings in Procter & Gamble. Cibc World Market Inc., for instance, increased its stake by 40.6% during the fourth quarter and now owns 511,833 shares valued at $73,351,000.
Despite these changes, institutional investors still hold a significant portion of PG's stock, with 65.77% of it owned by hedge funds and other investment firms.
