Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) is expanding its fleet by adding Boeing 787 Dreamliners. The airline plans to purchase 16 aircraft this year, with the first one expected to arrive next month.

According to officials, PIA aims to acquire a total of 64 Boeing 787 aircraft over the next eight years as part of its long-term expansion strategy. This move is part of a major overhaul of the national airline's air operations.

The cost of each Boeing 787 Dreamliner varies between $248 million and $355 million, depending on the model and configuration.
