Pickford Sets Record with Fifth Coca-Cola Save of the Month Win
Jordan Pickford has won the Coca-Cola Save of the Month award for an unprecedented fifth time. The Everton goalkeeper's record-breaking achievement comes after his stunning stop against Crystal Palace in August, which denied Eddie Nketiah a certain goal and helped his team secure a 2-0 win.
Pickford's save was selected as the best of the month from a six-man shortlist, which included efforts from Hull City's Konstantinos Tzolakis and Djordje Petrovic of Bournemouth. The winner was determined by combining votes from the public with those of an expert panel.
This award marks Pickford's third win in 2026, following victories in February and now August. He has surpassed fellow goalkeepers Andre Onana, Aaron Ramsdale, and David Raya, who have each claimed the prize three times.
