Marketing and growth platform Pie has secured an investment from AmEx Ventures, the corporate venture-capital arm of American Express. This latest round comes on the heels of a $19.5 million Series A funding in June, which included participation from investors like Capital One Ventures. The company's services span campaign management, automatic modifications to campaigns designed to aid performance, and an AI search product that optimizes brands' presence in AI search.

Pie has already partnered with several well-known clients, including Supercuts, Massage Envy, and European Wax Center. According to its CEO and co-founder Syed Ali, 'We built Pie for how small businesses actually operate, meeting them where they are and taking a revenue-first approach to growth.' The investment from AmEx Ventures will help Pie accelerate its mission of reaching more small businesses across the country.
