Pixel 11 Leaps Ahead of Pixel 9 with Telephoto Camera and Tensor G6 Processor
The new Google Pixel 11 brings significant upgrades over its predecessor, the Pixel 9. One of the most notable changes is the addition of a telephoto camera to the base model, allowing for clearer images of distant objects.
While some may be put off by the reduction in resolution from 48MP on the Pixel 9's ultrawide camera to 13MP on the Pixel 11, this change was made to accommodate the new telephoto lens. The main camera also saw a slight decrease from 50MP to 48MP.
The Google Tensor G6 processor represents two generations of improvement over the Pixel 9 and offers substantial processing efficiency and CPU performance enhancements.
The price increase from $799 to $899 may deter some, but buyers will get twice the base storage with the new phone, starting at 256GB. Upgraded computational video features are also on board, including improvements in ultra-low-light video and 4K cinematic blur.
