Pixel 11 Pro Fold Falls Short Against Rival Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra

Android Central's Editor-in-Chief Shruti Shekar recently got hands-on time with Google's Pixel 11 Pro Fold and was impressed by its premium feel. However, she couldn't help but think about Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, which has a sleeker design and looks more premium.

The Pixel 11 Pro Fold is 1mm thinner than its predecessor and features a new colorway, Olive, which Shekar found stunning. The crease on the internal display is also barely noticeable, giving the phone an exquisite feel.

Shekar notes that while the Pixel 11 Pro Fold has some upgrades, it's not a significant departure from last year's model. This may be because Google needs to focus on perfecting its Gemini software and ensure that the features in the Pro models are worth the premium price.
