The Google Pixel 11 Pro's RGB light module, called HiLight, was one of its most notable features. Initially, it seemed like a potential notification system, but Google limited its use to only two functions: Gemini interactions and calls from favorite contacts.

Tech content creator DhananjayBhosale created an app called HiLight Studio to unlock the module's true potential. The app allows users to customize their notification effects and even enable HiLight as an always-on light.

The app has several customization options, including gradient finishes, breathing looks, and more. Users can also create per-app rules for different apps, such as WhatsApp or Instagram.

However, enabling wireless debugging is required to use the app, which locks users out of banking and payment apps due to security reasons. This process is arduous and may not be feasible for regular users.
