Pixel 11 Pro XL Lags Behind Rivals in Early Benchmarks
Google's Pixel 11 Pro XL has been benchmarked ahead of its release on August 20. The results show a performance increase of up to 20% compared to last year's model, the Pixel 10 Pro XL.
The new Pixel 11 Pro XL features the Tensor G6 chip and a new Titan M3 security co-processor. In comparison to other smartphones, it still falls behind rival devices such as the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, which is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip.
The benchmarks were uploaded to Geekbench and show that the Pixel 11 Pro XL has a single-core score of 2,293 and a multi-core score of 7,108. The Pixel 10 Pro XL scored 2,010 in single-core tests and 5,923 in multi-core tests.
While the performance increase is notable, it's still not on par with other top-of-the-line devices such as the iPhone 17 Pro/Pro Max, which features an Apple A19 Pro chip. The new Pixel 11 series will be available for pre-order soon, and Amazon is offering a $200 gift card with the purchase of the Pro and Pro XL models.
