Pixel 11 Pro XL Owners Get Boost in Charging Speed with New 'Extreme Charging' Feature
The Pixel 11 Pro XL is one of the slowest-charging smartphones on the market, but Google has introduced a new feature called Extreme Charging to address this issue.
This feature enables the fastest charging that Google's hardware supports and pauses many apps while charging to prevent overheating.
To use Extreme Charging, plug your phone into a compatible 30W, 45W, or faster charger when the battery is under 50%, then navigate to the system settings, Battery & charging section, and toggle on Extreme Charging Mode.
A shortcut appears on the lock screen whenever your phone is plugged in, allowing you to enable Extreme Charging with a single tap.
