Pixel 11 Review: A Budget-Friendly Smartphone That Holds Its Own

The Google Pixel 11 is a smartphone that may not have all the bells and whistles of its Pro variants, but it still packs a punch. With a smaller screen size, lower resolution cameras, and slower charging speeds, this phone is for those who want a more affordable option without sacrificing too much in terms of features.

I spent nearly a month with the Pixel 11 Pro XL to see how it compared to its base model counterpart. The main differences between the two are the smaller screen size, lack of vapor chamber, and slower charging speeds on the base model. However, both phones share many AI-powered features.

Despite some compromises, I found the Pixel 11 to be an impressive device with a lot of smarts. It boasts noticeable improvements in battery life, thermals that are considerably cooler, and a smooth user experience. The high-quality photos taken with the main camera system were also impressive.

However, there are some drawbacks to consider. The price has gone up by $100 compared to its predecessor, and images from the telephoto lens do not look as good as those from the Pro variants. Additionally, I experienced power issues with Genshin Impact, similar to other Pixel 11 series models.
