Pixel 11 Series: Google's Big Reveal Brings Higher Prices, New Features
The highly anticipated Google Pixel 11 series is set to be unveiled on August 12. The event, hosted by Trevor Noah, will likely reveal updates to the entire Pixel lineup, including the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, and a potential Pixel 11 Pro Fold.
Google itself has teased a new Pixel 11 series directly on the Google Store landing page, offering an exclusive offer for would-be customers who sign up to receive email notifications about the news launch. The company is expected to announce Android features that are unique to the Pixel 11, at least initially, to help it stand apart from the competition.
The prices of the Pixel 11 series will be higher across the board, with the base model starting at $899 and the top-of-the-line Pixel 11 Pro Fold starting at $1,899. The changes in design seem minor, with thinner bezels and an all-black camera bar on the Pixel 11.
The new Pixel Glow feature, or HiLight as it's also called, will use subtle light and color on the back of the device to inform users of important activity when the phone is face down. The Pixel 11 series will ship in various colors, including Light sterling (gray), midnight haze (black), fuchsia (pink) and moss (green).
