Pixel 11 Stumbles in Low Light, But Still Outshines Samsung in DxOMark Test
The Google Pixel 11 has made headlines for its impressive camera performance in good lighting conditions. According to recent tests by DxOMark, the smartphone's small sensors belie its ability to capture accurately exposed and detailed photos with a wide dynamic range. The portrait mode also delivers a convincing bokeh effect, while autofocus is fast and reliable.
However, when it comes to low light conditions, the Pixel 11 falls short. Image noise becomes apparent, fine details are lost due to noise reduction, and colors, particularly skin tones, are rendered inaccurately. The ultra-wide-angle camera also struggles with detail, capturing images with relatively little depth.
