Pixel 11 Trade-In Error Hits Customers with Unexpected Charges

Google's Pixel 11 series has been met with a price increase compared to last year's Pixel 10 devices. To mitigate this, consumers have been trading in their older phones for discounts on the new purchases. However, reports are emerging of an issue where trade-in values are being rejected, leaving customers with full-priced bills.

Users who have purchased a Pixel 11 series phone using a Pixel 10 or Pixel 10 Pro as a trade-in report having been offered the full discount amount at checkout. Once they shipped off their old device, they received emails stating that the trade-in value was rejected. In some cases, users were even charged for the remaining amount.

The cause of this issue is unclear, but it appears that Google is aware of the problem and working to resolve it. Until a fix is implemented, new customers may still encounter the same error when purchasing the Pixel 11 series phones.
