Pixel 11 vs Galaxy S26: A Tale of Two Flagships
Google and Samsung have released their latest flagships, the Pixel 11 and Galaxy S26. While both phones share similarities, they also have distinct features that set them apart.
The Pixel 11 boasts a slightly larger battery capacity than its predecessor and offers faster wireless charging. It also supports Qi2.2 wireless charging speeds and magnetic accessories like portable battery packs. However, Google has discontinued the lower-priced model with 128GB of storage, making the 256GB Pixel 11 the new baseline.
The Galaxy S26, on the other hand, has a more immersive display due to its thin, uniform bezels. It also features Horizontal Lock for gimbal-like stabilization and other AI tools for object removal and photo editing. The Galaxy S26 has a slightly lower price point than the Pixel 11, with a regular $900 price that's been discounted to $775 at the time of this writing.
Both phones are powered by high-end processors, with the Pixel 11 using an in-house Tensor G6 chip and the Galaxy S26 relying on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy chip. They also share AI features like Magic Capture, which uses AI to pick out the best still images from a short video.
