Pixel 11's Magic Capture Revolutionizes Fast-Moving Subject Photography
The Pixel 11 is not significantly different from its predecessor and lacks new cameras. However, Google added various software features, including Magic Capture. This feature allows for effortless photo capture of fast-moving subjects. It starts recording a video when the shutter button is pressed and then uses AI models to analyze frames and select the best still image.
The selected image is converted into a high-resolution HDR photo. The feature is designed to make it easy to take photos of kids or other moving objects without blurriness. When using Magic Capture, multiple images are captured, along with the video recorded. However, the video itself is not shot in 4K.
The camera modules on the Pixel 11 have not changed this year, but the phone takes better photos due to tweaks in Google's camera algorithms. Features like Camera Looks also contribute to changing the look and feel of photos.
