Pixel Search Unleashed: Unified Feature Brings Device Data Together

Google's latest Pixel 11 smartphones introduce a unified 'Pixel search' feature that streamlines access to personal information. This dedicated search companion is designed to help users find apps, files in Google Drive, and photos faster than ever.

The Pixel search bar can be found within the Pixel Launcher app grid, not as the single search bar mentioned by Google at the bottom of the homescreen. The new feature integrates with a range of device data, including Calendar, Drive, Files by Google, Gmail, Messages, Photos, and Pixel Screenshots.

When users search for a term, they can quickly access Calendar events, documents in Drive, emails, photos, and chats from Google Messages. This unified search experience takes just a second to populate all the results.

The integration with multiple accounts allows users to set specific addresses for Google Drive and Gmail. Additionally, Pixel Launcher search now supports work profiles, providing more flexibility for users.
