Pixel Thermometer Gets New Icon Ahead of Its Demise

Google has quietly updated the Pixel Thermometer app on its way out of existence. The new icon is a subtle change, but one that maintains consistency with other first-party apps.

The thermometer itself now features a blue hue, while the mercury uses a darker shade of blue and the background is white.

There are no notable changes inside the app, as this update likely marks its last major overhaul outside of bug fixes. The Pixel Thermometer will still be supported for years to come.

The update brings the app in line with other Pixel features, but unfortunately, it doesn't include a Quick Settings Tile, which some users might have been hoping for.
