Pixel Update Brings Long-Awaited App Lock Feature
Google's latest Pixel update has brought a long-awaited feature to Android users - App Lock. The feature allows users to lock almost any app on their phone with fingerprint, face unlock, or pattern requirements.
The update, Android 17 QPR2 Beta 3, was released last Friday and includes several new features. To access the App Lock option, long-press on an app and select it from the menu that appears.
App Lock adds an extra layer of security to apps, preventing unauthorized access even if someone bypasses the lock screen. When activated, users can toggle App Lock on or off for each app in settings.
