Google is working on a refreshed user interface (UI) for paid games on the Play Store. The new design, which is still under development and hasn't been released yet, will display key details at the bottom of a more immersive banner image.

The current UI treats free and paid games equally, with only minor differences depending on the device type. However, Google seems to be trying to make paid games stand out from their free counterparts.

A teardown of the latest Play Store app (v53.0) revealed that a new UI for paid games is being worked on. When enabled, it shows the game's banner image prominently, with reviews and ratings, age ratings, and device compatibility at the bottom of the banner.
