Plymouth Resident Jerry Conrad Passes Away at 84
Jerrold 'Jerry' Conrad, an 84-year-old resident of Plymouth, Minnesota, passed away on July 27, 2026. Born in Minneapolis to Robert and Roberta Conrad, Jerry grew up in Golden Valley and graduated from Robbinsdale High School in 1959.
He went on to study at the College of St. Thomas before starting a 35-year career at Honeywell and Alliant Techsystems. In 1961, he married his high school sweetheart, Denice Durkot, with whom he had two children, Michael and Patrick.
Jerry's love for life was evident in his many hobbies, which included fishing, hunting, golf, boating, woodworking, photography, canoeing, bicycling, scootering, motorcycling, and ATVs. He even built his own cabin on Holt Lake and passed down his handyman skills to his sons.
Jerry is survived by his wife of nearly 65 years, Denice; children Michael (Tammara) Conrad and Patrick (Kristin) Conrad; grandchildren Natalie Conrad, Sean (Stephanie) Conrad, Brooke (Mitchell) Paquin, Mallory Conrad; and great-grandchildren Camden Paquin, Scout Conrad, Sloan Conrad, Bernard Paquin, Archibald Paquin, and Walter Paquin.
