Poland Added to US F-15 Buyer List Amid Interest in Advanced Fighter Jets

The US has added Poland to the list of potential buyers for F-15 multirole fighter jets. The information was revealed in a notice published on the Pentagon's website, detailing a contract worth $131.23 billion awarded to Boeing with no fixed term and no limit on supply volume.

The contract covers aircraft production, systems integration, upgrades, modifications, and technical support for critical F-15 weapons systems for the US Air Force, Air National Guard, and international customers. Poland is among several countries included in the potential sale, alongside Japan, Israel, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Singapore, Indonesia, and others.

The contract's ordering period runs through August 24, 2031, with an option to extend it through August 24, 2036. This development comes after Poland expressed interest in purchasing F-15EX Eagle II fighter jets, which could complement the country's existing fleet of F-35As and F-16s.
