Prominent PR Executive Nicholas W. Parham Dies Unexpectedly at 76

Nicholas W. Parham, a 76-year-old man from Marstons Mills, Massachusetts, died on August 23, 2026, at his favorite waterfront restaurant in Provincetown, Massachusetts.

He had been enjoying an extra-sweet margarita with his husband and close friends before passing away.

Parham was born in Baltimore, Maryland, to Robert and Polly Parham. At age eight, they moved to Richmond, Virginia, where he made lifelong friends through his notorious 'basement gang' of friends.

Despite flunking first grade and later landing in Hargrave Military Academy, Parham eventually found his way. He graduated from the University of South Carolina with a broadcast journalism degree.

Parham's career spanned various roles, including PR and public affairs executive for Virginia Electric and Power Company, Cox Cable Communications, 3Com, and Cisco Systems in Silicon Valley.
