Proofpoint Bolsters Leadership with Levey and Jaspal Appointments
Proofpoint, a cybersecurity company that serves over 80 of the Fortune 100 and millions of smaller organizations through its products focused on people, data, and AI agents across email, cloud, and collaboration environments, has appointed two senior executives to its leadership team. Brian Levey joins as Chief Legal Officer, bringing more than 25 years of leadership experience from his previous roles at Upwork and eBay, where he was involved in strategic transactions including the acquisitions of PayPal and Skype.
As Chief Legal Officer, Levey will lead Proofpoint's global legal organization, including legal affairs, corporate governance, compliance, and ethics, while working with the executive team and Board on growth, innovation, and risk management. He noted that 'building trust online has been the through-line of my in-house career, and cybersecurity is where trust gets defended.'
Puja Jaspal, also a seasoned leader with over 25 years of experience from her previous roles at Fastly, Cisco, Visa, and Google, joins as Chief People Officer. She will oversee talent strategy, employee experience, organizational development, and total rewards.
