Q2 Metals Appoints Dr. Geneviève Morinville as Vice President, Sustainability & Regulatory Affairs
Q2 Metals Corp., a Canadian mineral exploration company, has appointed Dr. Geneviève Morinville as Vice President, Sustainability & Regulatory Affairs for its Cisco Lithium Project in Eeyou Istchee James Bay, Quebec, Canada.
Morinville brings over twenty years of experience managing environmental, social, and governance (ESG) matters within the Canadian mining sector. She has a strong track record of leading corporate sustainable development strategies in the region, building collaborative relationships with Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities, and maximizing local participation and long-term benefits.
The Cisco Lithium Project is strategically situated near the Billy Diamond Highway, providing access to rail infrastructure in Matagami and connections to deep seaports. The project has an Inferred Mineral Resource Estimate of 270 Mt grading 1.36% Li2O at a 0.4% Li2O cut-off grade and an additional underground-constrained resource of 24 Mt grading 1.34% Li2O Inferred at a 0.7% Li2O cut-off grade.
