Australian airline Qantas is revamping its business class seats on select aircraft. The first to receive the upgrade are the Airbus A321XLR and Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, with deliveries starting in 2028.

The new business class seats on the Airbus A321XLR feature fully flat convertible beds, a first for narrow-body aircraft in Qantas' fleet. Each seat has direct aisle access and is equipped with features like a sliding door, wireless charging, and USB-C ports.

Qantas plans to deploy these aircraft on transcontinental routes to and from Perth as well as short- to medium-haul international routes. The airline has ordered 16 of these aircraft with the corresponding cabin configuration.
