Qatar Airways has reached a major milestone in its rollout of Starlink connectivity onboard. The airline has completed the Starlink rollout across its Boeing 787-8 sub-fleet in just seven months, bringing the total number of its Starlink-equipped widebody aircraft to 150. This includes not only Boeing 787-8 but also Boeing 777 and Airbus A350 fleets.

The carrier is now the first airline globally to operate Starlink-equipped Boeing 787-9 aircraft. It remains on track to complete the Starlink rollout across its entire Boeing 787 fleet by the end of 2026.

Since launching Starlink connectivity onboard in October 2024, over 23 million passengers have connected to the fastest Wi-Fi in the sky across more than 86,000 Qatar Airways flights. The airline operates up to 323 Starlink-flights daily, making access to fast and seamless onboard connectivity an increasingly familiar part of its global passenger experience.
