Qatar Airways Reports Record $1.94 Billion Profit Amid Global Disruptions
Qatar Airways has reported a record net profit of $1.94 billion for the 2025/26 financial year, exceeding expectations despite major disruptions in the Gulf aviation market.
The airline carried 41.8 million passengers through Hamad International Airport and its cargo operation handled over 1.43 million tonnes during the year.
The record result comes as Qatar Airways prepares to expand its fleet with a major order of Boeing widebody aircraft, committing to 160 jets, including 130 787 Dreamliners and 30 777-9s, with options for another 50 planes.
