Qiddiya City Joins Forces with Google for Smarter Transport Integration
Qiddiya Investment Company has joined forces with Google to integrate its transport services into Google Maps. This partnership will enable users to plan their trips and navigate through Qiddiya City more efficiently.
The integration includes details about major locations such as Six Flags Qiddiya City, Aquarabia waterpark, and Park and Ride 1. The service also provides information on the Qiddiya City Bus, an electric intercity route linking the city with Riyadh Metro STC stations at Olaya and Jeddah Road.
The Intelligent Transport Systems will supply live updates covering bus positions, projected arrival times, schedule compliance, and passenger load levels. This move forms part of Qiddiya City's wider connected mobility approach, which merges digital trip planning, public transit, Park and Ride options, and live rider information.
Abdulrahman AlAli, Chief Technology Officer at Qiddiya Investment Company, stated that technology serves as a key driver in providing smooth experiences for visitors. By linking the transport network with Google Transit, they are uniting live data, digital advances, and user-focused design to make travel to and around Qiddiya City easier.
