QuakeCon Offers Nvidia's RTX 5090 for MSRP Amid Ongoing Graphics Card Shortage
Nvidia's most powerful graphics card, the GeForce RTX 5090, is available for its MSRP of $1,999 at QuakeCon in Dallas, Texas.
However, the cheapest deal found online costs over $4,500, with some retailers charging as much as $3,499. This has led to Nvidia setting up a 'Verified Priority Access IRL' booth at QuakeCon, where attendees can purchase the RTX 5090 for MSRP while supplies last.
The catch is that the booth only offers a limited number of GPUs each day, and attendees must be present in person to purchase one. For those who don't live nearby, flying out to QuakeCon may not be the most outrageous idea, as it could potentially save them money compared to buying online.
Nvidia is also offering freebies at its booth, including GeForce Trading Cards featuring 14 of GeForce's greatest gaming moments.
