Qualcomm Inc., a semiconductor giant worth $185.94 billion, has announced a multi-generation collaboration with Amazon to develop next-generation AI datacenter infrastructure.

The partnership will involve customized silicon designed for AI inference workloads and optical connectivity technology through 1.6T and future generations.

This deal is significant as it adds Amazon to Qualcomm's named client list, further validating the breadth of its data-center platform.

RBC Capital raised its price target on Qualcomm to $180 from $160, citing this strategic agreement with Amazon as a positive development.
