Quanovate Axes Marketing Claims Following P&G Challenge
Quanovate has agreed to stop making certain marketing claims about its Mira fertility monitor and test wands after Procter & Gamble (P&G) challenged their accuracy. The company made this decision following a formal inquiry from the BBB National Programs' National Advertising Division (NAD). Quanovate opted to voluntarily withdraw the disputed advertising language rather than pursue a review process, confirming it would cease the claims effective immediately.
The challenge originated from P&G, which questioned the accuracy and substantiation of the marketing claims used by Quanovate. In response, Quanovate chose to align its future advertising with the standards raised during the challenge, bringing an end to the NAD's involvement in the matter.
