QXO Hires Ken West as COO Amid Building Products Expansion Plans

QXO Inc., led by billionaire Brad Jacobs, has hired Ken West as its new chief operating officer. West comes from Honeywell International Inc., where he was a potential successor to CEO Vimal Kapur.

In his role at QXO, West will oversee the company's day-to-day operations and report directly to Jacobs.

Jacobs is building North America's largest building products distributor through acquisitions. Since 2024, QXO has spent around $30 billion buying companies including Beacon Roofing Supply and Kodiak Building Partners.
