QXO Names Ken West as New President and COO Amid Aggressive Growth Strategy
QXO Inc. has announced the appointment of Ken West as its new president and chief operating officer (COO), effective September 1st. West, a seasoned executive with over two decades of experience, joins QXO from Honeywell Process Technology, where he served as CEO. He also held leadership positions at Honeywell UOP and Honeywell Advanced Materials.
In his new role, West will report directly to QXO CEO Brad Jacobs. Jacobs praised West's exceptional operational skills, stating that his leadership will be instrumental in scaling the platform and delivering shareholder value. QXO has been positioning itself as the second-largest publicly traded building products distributor in North America, with a target of $50 billion in annual revenue by the end of the decade.
The appointment comes as QXO continues to drive growth through strategic acquisitions. In its most recent fiscal Q2, the Kodiak Building Partners acquisition contributed $595 million to total sales, while the Beacon Roofing Supply acquisition from April 2025 added another $11 billion. West's experience in integrating acquired businesses and driving business transformations will likely be valuable assets in this regard.
