Rackspace Teams Up with Nvidia and Palantir for Sovereign AI Push
Rackspace Technology Inc., which provides managed cloud services, announced its entry into Nvidia's Cloud Partner Program. The move positions Rackspace to serve enterprises that need strict control over their data and AI model operations.
The centerpiece of the announcement is the Institutional Sovereign Pod, a governed AI infrastructure framework combining Nvidia's Blackwell accelerated computing with Palantir's Foundry data platform and AIP application layer.
Rackspace will operate the integrated environment, providing engineering, deployment, and ongoing managed services for regulated industries and government agencies.
The company's CEO, Gajen Kandiah, emphasized the importance of accountability in AI operations, stating that 'Enterprise AI is becoming production infrastructure.' He added that Rackspace's role is to make the entire system work and remain accountable for the outcome.
