Randy Edward Pensack, a 70-year-old resident of Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania, passed away on September 10, 2026, after a nine-month battle with lung cancer. He was born on November 5, 1955, in Factoryville and graduated from Lackawanna Trail High School in 1973.

Pensack had a diverse career, working for Procter & Gamble before co-owning the Dalton Country Store with his wife and family members. The store closed in 2015, marking Randy's retirement.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Ann Marie (Hughes) Pensack, two children, Amy Farris and Jason Pensack, and four grandchildren. His family has set up the Connor Pensack Foundation to support research for Very Early Onset Inflammatory Bowel Disease at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

The staff at Allied Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Scranton provided loving care during his final days, which aligns with Randy's wishes of avoiding a formal funeral service.
