Rate Hike Fears Can't Dampen Growth at Microsoft and Alphabet
Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT) and Alphabet (NASDAQ: GOOGL) are weathering the current rate hike fears, thanks to their robust balance sheets. Both companies have posted impressive growth numbers in recent quarters.
Microsoft's fiscal Q4 revenue jumped 17.8% to $90.01 billion, with Intelligent Cloud growing 32% and Azure increasing 43%. Azure's revenue surpassed $100 billion for the first time, and Microsoft 365 Copilot reached over 30 million paid seats.
Alphabet's Q2 was even more remarkable, with revenue hitting $119.80 billion, up 24.2%, marking its 12th straight quarter of double-digit growth. Google Cloud accelerated to 82% growth at $24.77 billion, a stunning jump.
