Rate Hikes Ahead: These Stocks Will Still Thrive
The Federal Reserve may raise interest rates in October, but not all stocks will suffer. In fact, some will thrive.
CME Group's FedWatch estimates a 57.7% chance of a rate hike at the FOMC meeting scheduled for late October.
UnitedHealth Group and JPMorgan Chase are two such stocks that could benefit from higher rates.
As interest rates increase, UnitedHealth's health insurance business will likely remain steady. The company has already seen a 54% year-over-year earnings jump in the second quarter of 2026.
JPMorgan Chase, on the other hand, will see its net investment income rise with higher rates. Its $25.6 billion net interest income in Q2 is already up 10% from last year.
