Red Hat and IBM Combat Software Patch Deadlocks with Lightwell

Red Hat and IBM have launched Lightwell, a platform designed to combat software patch deadlocks. This initiative is backed by a $5 billion investment in open-source security from both companies.

The average enterprise codebase has around 581 vulnerabilities, which can be remediated through Lightwell's AI-driven automation and human engineering expertise.

Lightwell introduces two offerings: Lightwell Network and Lightwell Clearinghouse Premier. These platforms combine AI-driven automation with human engineering expertise to identify, validate, and remediate vulnerabilities in open-source dependencies.
