Redundant Backups Wasting Android Users' Cloud Storage

Many Android users are unaware that their cloud storage is being consumed by redundant backups, including those from Google Photos and other apps. Even if you're careful about your file system, these duplicate files can sneak up on you. For example, if you back up all your device folders in Google Photos, it will also backup WhatsApp's media folder, which is already stored elsewhere in Drive.

This means that users with large storage plans are wasting valuable space and potentially running out of room sooner than they think. This includes deleting unnecessary backups and media from Google Photos.
