Revolution Medicines Nears Massive Lease at Former Google Hub

Revolution Medicines Inc., a biotech firm, is on the verge of signing a massive lease for 700,000 square feet at Pacific Shores Center in Redwood City. The former Google hub has been vacant since July 2024, after the tech giant sold it.

The new lease would more than double Revolution's existing presence in Redwood City as it prepares to launch its commercial product, daraxonrasib, a pancreatic cancer drug that could generate billions of dollars in annual sales. The biotech downturn has left much of the Bay Area's new lab space struggling to find tenants.

The lease comes during a period of transition for Pacific Shores Center, a 106-acre waterfront office campus. Google used it as a major Peninsula hub after buying much of the campus in 2014.
