Rigetti Computing Stocks Poised for Rebound on Quantum Partnerships
Rigetti Computing (RGTI) has seen its shares plummet to a 52-week low of $12.53 in March, but they may be poised for a rebound due to recent partnerships and developments.
The company's technology is based on superconducting qubits, which are used in their quantum processing units (QPUs). These qubits have the advantage of leveraging existing semiconductor chip manufacturing processes and can be combined with Nvidia's proprietary quantum platform, NVQLink.
NVLink enables hybrid systems that connect classical supercomputers with quantum machines. This is a key step towards broader adoption of quantum computers, which are currently too expensive, cumbersome, and inaccurate for widespread usage on their own.
Rigetti's recent collaborations with Nvidia and Hewlett Packard Enterprise have helped the company post revenue of $5.1 million in the second quarter, up from $1.8 million in 2025. The U.S. Department of Commerce also invested $100 million in Rigetti this year to address key technical challenges its hardware faces.
