Riken Teams Up with QunaSys to Advance Quantum Computing Research
Riken, a leading Japanese research institute, has adopted QunaSys's QURI SDK Enterprise for its JHPC-quantum project. The QURI SDK will enable users to access quantum computing resources from the Fugaku supercomputer environment.
The QURI SDK supports IBM Quantum System Two and Quantinuum System Model H2, as well as Fugaku and the ROQUO GPU supercomputer for quantum-HPC hybrid workflows. This integration allows researchers to run quantum circuit simulation with MPI-based distributed parallelism on multiple nodes and processors.
QunaSys's QSCI algorithm and ADAPT-QSCI will be available through the QURI SDK, supporting computation in fields such as quantum chemistry, materials science, and computer-aided engineering. The company plans to continue expanding the environment towards utility-scale quantum-HPC hybrid computing.
