Riviera Resort: A Must-Visit Destination at Disney World
The Disney World resort that is better to visit than stay at is the Riviera Resort. Despite its stunning atmosphere and incredible dining options, it can be quite costly to stay here, with prices reaching up to $1,000 a night during peak seasons. One of the main reasons for this is the room size, which is severely undersized compared to other Deluxe Resorts.
The Riviera Resort has several excellent dining locations that are worth visiting without staying at the resort. Le Petit Cafe offers pastries and specialty coffees during the day and turns into a light bites and cocktails spot in the evening. Bar Riva is the pool bar, but it's an elevated experience with covered seating and a menu of Mediterranean dishes. Primo Piatto is the quick-service location on the ground level, offering classic dishes like chicken tenders or pizza, as well as more adventurous options.
The Riviera Resort also has a table-service restaurant called Topolino's Terrace, Flavors of the Riviera, which offers two unique dining options: a character-dining breakfast and a more sophisticated dinner. The resort is located along the Skyliner route, making it easy to access EPCOT and Hollywood Studios.
While staying at the Riviera Resort may not be worth the cost due to its high prices and undersized rooms, visiting the resort for its dining options and atmosphere is a much better option. Guests can enjoy the stunning architecture and decor, as well as the Disney magic found throughout the resort.
