Riyadh Air Expands in Southeast Asia with Dviation Technics Partnership
Riyadh Air has expanded its presence in Southeast Asia with the appointment of Dviation Technics as its line maintenance provider at Kuala Lumpur International Airport. This move comes as Riyadh Air launches services between Riyadh and Kuala Lumpur, marking its first destination in the region.
The Saudi carrier plans to operate three times a week on this route using Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners powered by GEnx engines. Under the agreement with Dviation Technics, the airline will receive comprehensive line maintenance services to ensure its aircraft operates safely and efficiently.
Riyadh Air is backed by Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund (PIF) and is a key part of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 strategy to establish Riyadh as a global aviation hub. The airline aims to serve over 100 destinations worldwide as it builds its international network.
