Riyadh Air Launches Direct Flights to Islamabad and Lahore in August
Riyadh Air, Saudi Arabia's new national carrier, is expanding its international network by launching direct flights to Islamabad and Lahore in Pakistan. The airline has announced that it will start operations on August 14, 2026, with seven weekly flights between Riyadh and Islamabad.
The second route, connecting Riyadh and Lahore, will begin a few days later on August 18, operating three times a week. Both routes will be served by the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft.
The launch of these routes is expected to strengthen air connectivity between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, offering travelers more direct flight options. This development is likely to benefit business travelers, tourists, overseas Pakistanis, and passengers traveling for religious purposes.
