Riyadh Air Takes Flight to Pakistan in August
Riyadh Air, Saudi Arabia's newly launched national carrier, is expanding its operations to include flights to Pakistan. The airline has announced that it will begin direct services to Islamabad and Lahore in August 2026.
The flight schedule indicates that seven weekly services will operate from Riyadh to Islamabad, commencing on August 14, while three weekly flights will be available for the route from Riyadh to Lahore starting on August 18. Both routes will utilize Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft.
Riyadh Air's entry into the Pakistani market is seen as a significant development in strengthening air connectivity between the two countries. The airline aims to cater to business travelers, tourists, and the large Pakistani expatriate community in Saudi Arabia.
