Roanoke College Teams Up with Google AI for Education
Roanoke College has partnered with Google's AI for Education Accelerator to provide students, faculty, and staff with free access to advanced artificial intelligence training and career certificates. This program aims to support learning and workforce readiness by equipping students with critical AI skills.
The partnership is part of Google's commitment to providing every higher education institution in the U.S. with free access to its most advanced AI training. The goal is to ensure that students graduate knowing how to use these tools effectively and responsibly.
Google's AI training teaches foundational AI skills, effective prompting techniques, and responsible AI usage. Students will also learn how to use AI tools for tasks such as building resumes and practicing job interviews.
In addition, students, faculty, and staff can earn Google Career Certificates at no cost. These industry-recognized credentials are in high-demand fields like cybersecurity, information technology support, and data analytics.
