Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s Leadership Questioned by Sister Rory
Rory Kennedy, sister of Robert F. Kennedy Jr., has expressed concerns about her brother's leadership abilities in his role as Health Secretary. She compared it to the failures she observed at Boeing during her documentary research.
Kennedy made these comments while promoting her Netflix documentary 'Freefall: A Reckoning for Boeing'. She stressed that top medical roles require qualified leaders, citing the importance of science and expertise in medicine.
'I'm a believer in science and expertise and medicine and medical professionals,' Kennedy said. 'And so I feel very strongly that having people who have a background in the work they do is super important for the knowledge to then be effective at your job and to be able to put protocols in place that are going to minimize any misery and death and will maximize health and well-being.'
Kennedy pointed out that running a health agency is a massive task demanding a lifetime of expertise. She compared this to Boeing's decline when it shifted its focus away from engineering, quality, and safety.
