Royal Air Maroc Expands Fleet With New Boeing 737 MAX-8 Delivery

Royal Air Maroc is expanding its fleet by taking delivery of a new Boeing 737 MAX-8, bringing its total aircraft count to over 69. This addition marks another step in the airline's ongoing fleet expansion and modernization efforts.

The new aircraft, registered CN-RHR, will be the 18th Boeing 737 MAX-8 delivered to Royal Air Maroc and the 45th Boeing single-aisle aircraft in its fleet. The airline expects this delivery to reinforce its capacity on high-density routes linking Morocco with destinations in Europe, West Africa, and the Middle East.

Royal Air Maroc's fleet expansion is part of a broader strategy aimed at transforming the carrier into a global airline by 2037. As part of this plan, the airline plans to expand its international network to 143 destinations by 2037, while also increasing its fleet size to 200 aircraft.

The airline has already made significant progress in implementing this plan, with new direct routes launched or announced to several international destinations, including Beijing, São Paulo, Los Angeles, Manchester, Saint Petersburg, and N'Djamena.
