RTX 5090 Price Inflation Hits New Heights
The Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card has reached unprecedented prices, with some models selling for more than double their launch MSRP. The standard Asus TUF Gaming model is now priced at $5,169, a significant increase from its original price of around $2,000.
This is not an isolated incident, as other high-end models are also experiencing similar price hikes. For example, the MSI RTX 5090 Lightning Z, which was originally priced at $5,090 and featured advanced cooling and overclocking capabilities, can now be found for even lower prices than that of a standard model.
The situation is further exacerbated by the limited availability of in-stock models, with only five variants available below $5,300. This scarcity has led to a situation where buyers are willing to pay premium prices for even basic models, making it difficult for those looking to purchase an RTX 5090 card.
